I can't pass the course before it endsĭepending on your course's grading policy, you may still be able to earn a passing score if you miss a couple of assignments. Questions 35 are worth 4 points each and questions 68 are worth 3 points each. Questions 38 are short free-response questions that require about 6 minutes each to answer. It is certainly possible to pass an edX course if you miss some assignments however, coursework is progressive, so you should review and study what you may have missed. Questions 1 and 2 are long free-response questions that require about 22 minutes each to answer and are worth 10 points each. If your course is an instructor-paced course, the due dates are fixed. Your course staff may be able to make an exception to provide a short extension for assignments. If your course has ended and is archived, the suggested schedule cannot be shifted. You will only see the Shift due dates button if you have missed a suggested due date, not before.
It is not possible to shift a suggested due date before it has passed. If you have missed a suggested due date, you can find the Shift due dates button on the course homepage or on the Dates tab. If your course is an active self-paced course, the end date has not passed, and you have missed the suggested due date on an assignment, you can shift your due dates into the future yourself. Note: It is not possible to shift the final course end date or due dates on open response assessments as both of those are fixed by the instructor.
